All of our teachers are professional dancers who have a passion for dance, and for teaching others to dance. In addition to being highly accomplished in their fields.  Our instructors and office staff are also energetic, positive and caring people.

Lauren Carnesi-Daniels is an artistic director, choreographer, and teaching artist in the greater Baltimore region. She studied at Mid Atlantic Center for The Performing Arts for her early training and completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts, cum laude, in Dance Performance and Choreography at Shenandoah Conservatory where she was the recipient of the Elizabeth Weil Bergmann choreography award. At Shenandoah University, she had the honor of training under the master tutelage of Alan Arnett, Ting- Yu Chen, Maurice Fraga, Elijah Alhadji Gibson, Erica Helm, and Linda Miller.


Lauren is the founder, artistic director and choreographer for the InvisibleWings Dance Project, contemporary dance company, which allows Lauren to spread awareness for Systemic Lupus Erythematosus and share the honest experience of living with the disease. InvisibleWings Dance Project was chosen for performance in the 16th Annual Maryland Council For Dance Artists’ Concert and recently the company was selected to perform at the 4th annual Baltimore Dance Invitational that highlights the regions top dance companies. 



Lauren is currently on staff as a teaching artist at E- Street Dance Academy and Mid- Atlantic Center For The Performing Arts in addition to many other studios through Maryland. She specializes in teaching contemporary, composition, partnering, improvisation, jazz, and modern. She believes in introducing artistry to dancers at a young age in order to create well-rounded dancers, performers, and artists. 


Lauren’s true passion is found in choreography; her work has received many accolades and has been selected for performance at several venues including the American College Dance Gala, Manhattan Movement and Arts Center (NYC), City Center Studios (NYC), Hatch Studios (NYC), The Secret Theater (NYC), Jack Guidone Theater (DC), Athenaeum Theatre (Chicago), Ohrstrom-Bryant Theater (VA), Armstrong Concert Hall (VA), Shingleton Dance Space (VA), Lang Performing Arts Center (PA), The John Carroll School (MD), The Weinburg Center (MD), the Chesapeake Theater (MD), The Grier School (PA), in addition to Youth 

American Grand Prix regional and national stages. Lauren’s work has also been professionally performed abroad at the Macedonia National Opera and Ballet Theater and other notable performance venues in England, Greece, Macedonia, and on tour through the Catalonia region of Spain. 



Lauren was commissioned to set work a piece for Motion X Dance DC which premiered at the 2016 

Capital Fringe Festival and by Danse Macabre for their productions Witching Hour and Snow White and the Seven Demons. One of Lauren’s most notable accomplishments is her work as artistic director and lead choreographer for Harford Dance Theatre’s summer contemporary dance performance series. After the great success of Oona (2014), KINETIC CANVAS: Edward Hopper (2015), and a sold out performance of KINETIC CANVAS: Claude Monet (2016), KINETIC CANVAS: SALVADOR DALI (2017), KINETIC CANVAS: VINCENT VAN GOGH (2018), KINETIC CANVAS: JACKSON POLLOCK (2019) and KINETIC CANVAS: Frida Kahlo (2021). Lauren is very thankful for the support of Harford Dance Theatre and is thrilled to continue creating and producing moving, and original productions for their stage.











Growing up in Baltimore, MD, Ariana McGrath trained in all styles including ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary and musical theater. 


In 2010, Ariana was honored to perform at the Carson Scholars Fund Gala and be named a Maryland Distinguished Scholar in Dance. She performed with Disney Cruise Line as a featured dancer and was promoted to Dance Captain and Female Swing soon after. In 2015, she worked with Danielle Sten-Guillermo and Lance Guillermo on their project '366' with the Alternative Dance Project. 


Ariana has had the pleasure of choreographing for various studios and schools throughout Maryland and her choreography has won various awards throughout the competition scene. Ariana has also had the opportunity to be the head choreographer at the America’s Miss National Pageant and a judge for the East Coast USA Pageant System and On Point Dance Competition.


 Along with her dance and vocal training, Ariana has spent time training in the aerial arts including spanish web, silks and aerial hoop at the Toronto School of Circus Arts. She also has a strong passion for fitness and health and is a certified personal trainer and pilates instructor. 


Most recently you can find Ariana dancing for the NFL on the sidelines of M&T Bank Stadium as a 2017-2018 Baltimore Ravens Cheerleader. 


Doug Green grew up in Harford County. He started dancing in high school in the dance classes offered through the school. Doug spent most of his time practicing & trying to learn & progress as much as he could. Doug tried out for the Aberdeen Dance Company during his sophomore year. His time on this team was spent focusing on Hip-Hop & choreography. 


During his senior year in high school he was a member of the National Dance Honors Society, Captain of the Aberdeen Dance Company, & Captain of the Aberdeen Cheerleading Team. Once he graduated, Doug continued his dancing career here at E-Street on the competition team, exploring & learning the other styles of dance. Hip-Hop & Jazz are his favorites. 


Doug is a senior Towson University  majoring in Dance Performance with asperations to be a dance teacher.

Kelsey Kearney has been teaching dance in Harford County for 12 years. Originally from Hawaii, she began studying dance at the age of 3. Upon moving to Maryland, she continued her studies with the Aberdeen Dance Program and the Maryland School of Ballet and Modern Dance.


 In 1999, Kelsey became a member of the nationally recognized Maryland Showstoppers Dance Ensemble. She was also a member of the Maryland Viper All-Stars cheer and dance teams from 2001-2005. Kelsey attended the University of Delaware where she danced with the Artistic Expressions Performance Group, and received her bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and Media Studies. She then attended the University of Maryland and received two Master of 

Arts in Clinical Psychology and Sociology. 


Kelsey’s passion is tap, but she also enjoys teaching jazz, lyrical, ballet, and acrobatics.


OFFICE STAFF 

Ms Jenny is our office manager and handles anything to do with scheduling, monthly tuition, costume fees and recital billing as well as  monthly newsletter, website updates,  etc.   You can reach Ms Jenny at ESDA_OM@comcast.net



Ms Andrea  is our competition manager. She handles anything to do with competitions and conventions, registration, payments, etc.
