Welcome to the 2022-2023 E-Street Dance Season. We are so happy to have you all as part of our extended dance family and hope you find this season to be filled with lots learning and laughter. As the season begins, we would like to remind everyone a few details that will help your season run smooth and keep you informed and ready for anything that might arise.

We are so excited for this season and hope this page provides the answers to most of your questions. Feel free to email me with any comments or concerns.   • What is the DRESS CODE?

    Each class at ESDA requires a dress code that helps us provide the best dance training we can offer. If you have additional questions regarding dress code, please feel free to email us at any time.


    Ballet/Pointe: Black leotard and ballet pink tights. Pink canvas split sole ballet shoes. Ballet skirts may be worn for class. Hair must be secured in a tight bun.

     

    For our company members - colored leotards are as follows: Seniors/Teens (Black), Juniors (blue), Minis (Lavender with belt) and Tinys (light pink with belt)

     

    Technique:  Any color leotard, solid leggings. Bring in jazz shoes and have socks available. Hair must be secured in a pony tail or bun. 

     

    Jazz:  Any color leotard/solid leggings. Slip-on Bloch Pulse Tan Jazz shoes are required. Hair must be secured in a pony tail or bun. 

     

    Lyrical:  Any color leotard/solid leggings. Turners or ballet shoes are acceptable. Hair must be secured in a ponytail or bun. 

     

    Contemporary: Any color leotard/solid leggings. Bare Feet. Hair must be secured in a ponytail or bun. 

     

    Modern:  Any color leotard/black leggings. Bare Feet. Hair must be secured in a ponytail or bun. 

     

    Tap: Any color leotard/solid leggings. Black Oxford Style split sole Tap shoes are required. Hair must be secured in a ponytail or bun. 

     

    Creative movement:  Any color leotard and ballet pink tights. Pink canvas split-sole ballet shoes are required. Hair must be secured in a ponytail or bun.

     

    Acro/Tumbling: Any color leotard/solid leggings. Bare Feet. 

     

    Hip-Hop:  Comfortable street clothes and sneakers are required. 

     

    Male dancers  should wear a white fitted T-shirt or tank and black sweatpants, jazz pants, or slim fit dance pants.

  • How much are classes?

    Rates are equally split into 10 payments (Sept-June)


    30-minute class: $30.00              

    45-minute class: $45.00

    1-6 hr(s) per week: $50.00 per class                  

    UNLIMITED per dancer (7+ hours per week): $350.00

    FAMILY UNLIMITED (2 to 5 dancers): $600.00

    Solos and Duets are $140 per month (2 hours per month)

  • How does TUITION work?

    Tuition is pulled on the first of each month unless the first of the month falls on a weekend or a holiday in which case it will be pulled on the next business day. All tuition must be paid via credit card - please make sure your account is up to date. 


     Your dance season consists of 10 monthly payments (September – June). If you are unable to pay your tuition, you need to contact our office asap and make payment arrangements. Failure to pay tuition by the 5th of each month will result in a 15% late fee. This includes all payment arrangements. 30 days written notice is required if you decide to discontinue classes. Your account will be charged the next month’s tuition if notice is not given.

  • How much are COSTUMES? When is the money due?

    Costume fees will be due for all recreational classes on February 15th. Company costumes will be pulled on the 15th of October and November. All fees are $85.00 per dance unless otherwise designated by Ms. Amy. Reminders will be sent regarding this payment  prior to the due date. 

  • What is the inclement weather policy?

    ESDA’s inclement weather policy is as such. We will make every effort to make up missed classes due to inclement weather however, we DO NOT guarantee that all classes will be made up. We will allow dancers to drop in to other classes during the week. 

  • When is the RECITAL/SHOWCASE?

    Our 2024 recital will be held on Friday, June 14th at Kenwood High School. Recital t-shirts will be worn during our curtain call. A $50 recital fee will be added to your April tuition this includes a recital short sleeve T-shirt.
